Today, a beautiful copy of “our” sculpture was placed in the water tower!
Many thanks to Ad Haring, the artist who designed this sculpture together with us! He has literally given shape to our inspiration and vision!

The meaning of this artwork:
Pharus means lighthouse. This is central to our work. As a foundation, we want to shine light into this world. But not without knowing that the Creator of light shines through us.

Lighthouse
A lighthouse is a beacon of light in the darkness, a sign of hope and life.
In the midst of a broken world, we want to shine His light. For the poor, orphans, oppressed and brothers and sisters worldwide. By first opening our hands to receive grace. Giving and receiving is an art...

Equator
On the equator, you see three pairs of hands that are symbolic. First, for God who carries this world and will never let go of what His hand began. The second pair are the hands that may reach out to this world and people in need. And the third pair are the hands that join together as foundations. The connections and partnerships we are privileged to have.
Wavy water
And all this on the wavy water on which the lighthouse stands, the Living Source, our Foundation, from which we can draw our strength every day.
